In order to strengthen institutional, operational and human capacities, Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education successfully applied for the project “Development of ICT web-based solution for recognition of foreign VET school qualifications and strengthening administrative capacities of Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education”. The project was applied within Transition facility, a temporary instrument foreseen for new member states in their first years of membership – assistance in financing of development measures and strengthening of national administrative and judicial capacities for implementation and enforcement of EU legislation.
Project aims to develop modern ICT web based solution for recognition of foreign VET school qualifications with the purpose of ensuring efficient provision of AVETAE services and enable easier access to information about recognition procedure and access to labour market and/or education in Republic of Croatia. ICT web based solution will help in achieving the following:
- raise the quality of AVETAE public services in the field of recognition of foreign VET school qualifications
- minimise administrative barriers and improve customer support in the procedure of recognition of foreign VET school qualifications
- improve management and transparency of recognition process
- strengthen AVETAE capacities and improve cooperation with relevant authorities for recognition of foreign VET school qualifications in the EU.
Modern ICT web based solution for recognition of foreign VET school qualifications will consist of interactive web site with detailed information for applicants and others interested in the recognition of foreign VET school qualifications with access to public registry of foreign educational qualifications with information on regulations, educational systems and recognized foreign qualifications. Furthermore, a custom-made document management software for recognition procedure will be developed and linked to the website in order to automate workflows and enable better implementation, monitoring and reporting.
The implementation of this project will strengthen the administrative capacities of the Agency and improve internal procedures which will ensure transparency of the entire process for applicants.
The project has a total value of 32.641,58 €, implementation will start in September 2016. and it will last for 10 months.
