A delegation from Ukraine, consisting of representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the National Qualifications Agency, and the State Employment Service of Ukraine visited the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education (ASOO) in Croatia.

The hosts from the Agency warmly welcomed the guests and introduced them to the Croatian system of vocational education and adult education, as well as the work of the Agency as an Intermediate Body within the framework of the European Social Fund for priority areas of education and lifelong learning.

During the visit, presentations were held on key topics including:

• The Croatian vocational education system, its organization, connection with the labour market, and the role of stakeholders.
• Management of EU funds in the field of education.
• Recent reforms being implemented in the Croatian vocational education and adult education system aimed at increasing quality, flexibility, and labour market relevance.

The visit was organised within the framework of the Skills4Recovery project, which brings together partners from several European countries in providing support to Ukraine’s educational system during the country’s reconstruction and recovery.

By hosting this visit, the Agency reaffirmed the support that Croatia provides to Ukraine and, through the exchange of knowledge, experience, and good practices in the fields of quality assurance, qualification development, and strengthening vocational and adult education systems, contributed to enhancing the capacity of the Ukrainian educational system.
