The Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education has been participating as a partner in the Erasmus+ project “Platform for Strengthening Skills Competitions – PLASS COMP” since September 2024. The project is led by the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Vocational Education and Training, with other partners being the Cyprus Productivity Centre and the Czech Chamber of Commerce.

The project is set to run from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2026, with a total budget of EUR 250,000.00.

The main objective of the project is to improve the practices of national skills competitions and participation in international skills competitions. This includes participation in national and international competitions, study visits, joint preparations for the European Skills Competition EuroSkills Herning 2025, the development of a handbook and e-course for continuous use in preparations for international competitions, and the promotion of excellence in vocational education through knowledge exchange and promotional activities.

Expected outcomes include strengthening international cooperation, improving participants’ skills, enhancing the promotion of excellence in vocational education and training, increasing sustainability and inclusivity, advancing digitalization, with a focus on sustainability and cultural exchange.
