The Agency for VET and Adult Education is organizing the second National Conference on Quality Assurance in Vocational Education as a unique platform for providing support to vocational schools in implementing the self-assessment process and strengthening internal quality assurance systems. The conference also serves as a networking opportunity for schools to share experiences and examples of best practices in quality assurance.
The National Conference on Quality Assurance in Vocational Education will take place on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, in Zagreb (Hotel Antunović, Zagrebačka avenija 100 A, Zagreb) starting at 11:00 AM.

The conference is organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ project: Support to the National Reference Point for the European Quality Assurance Framework in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET NRP HR), led by the Agency for VET and Adult Education.

This year’s conference will focus on current topics related to quality assurance in vocational education, contributing to the further development of internal quality assurance systems, with an emphasis on the role of self-assessment in this process. The conference will also feature the presentation of instruments and tools for quality assurance.

The lectures will be held by international speakers and representatives of vocational schools. They will share their experiences in implementing quality assurance processes and strengthening a culture of quality in their schools. Workshops will cover topics related to tools and instruments for quality assurance, such as monitoring students after completing vocational education, peer observation of teaching, formative assessment, and internal quality assurance. The workshops will provide an opportunity for active involvement of conference participants.
