The Erasmus+ programme covers all European and international programs and initiatives of the European Union in the field of education, training, youth and sports. Erasmus+ will replace seven existing programs: Lifelong Learning Program (with its sub-programs Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Grundtvig), Youth in Action and five international cooperation programs (Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alpha, Edulink and the cooperation program with industrialized countries and territories).

For the first time, the program also introduces support in the field of sports. Erasmus + is aimed at strengthening the knowledge, skills and employability of European citizens, as well as improving education, training and work in the field of youth and sports. The seven-year program has a budget of 14.7 billion euros.

The Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education successfully completed eight Erasmus+ projects:
