The Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education, together with other stakeholders, is involved in the programming process for the European Social Fund budget period 2014-2020, within the Operational Program Effective Human Resources 2014-2020.

OP EHR 2014-2020 Projects implemented by the Agency:

• Promotion of Lifelong Learning
• Modernisation of the System of Professional Development of VET Teachers
• Promotion of Student Competences and VET Through Skills Competitions
• Modernisation of the Vocational Education and Training System

The Agency has proposed a number of operations and activities designed to further support the modernisation of vocational education, the development of adult education and the connection with the labour market, for example:

Priority axis: 10.3. Education and lifelong learning

Investment priority: 10.3. Increasing equal access to lifelong learning for all age groups in formal, non-formal and informal settings, improving the knowledge, skills and competences of the workforce, promoting flexible ways of learning, among other through professional counseling and validation of acquired competences

Specific objective: 10.iii.3 Improving the quality and relevance of the adult education system and improving the skills and competences of adult learners

Specific objective: 10.iv.1 Modernisation of the offer and programs of vocational education and raising its quality in order to increase the employability of students as well as opportunities for further education
