The Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education (ASOO) organized five professional workshops for vocational subject teachers who are interns preparing for the professional teaching exam, held from 3 to 7 February 2025. These workshops took place at:

• Agronomy School, Zagreb
• Vocational School for Personal Services
• Geodetic School, Zagreb
• Industrial-Engineering School
• Hospitality and Tourism College

A total of 88 interns participated in the workshops.

The aim of the professional workshops was to familiarize teachers with parts of the professional exam to make their preparation easier. At the same time, the workshops provided support for improving teaching competencies and emphasized the importance of professional development.

Topics covered during the workshops included:

• Written part of the professional exam: guidelines and a workshop
• Analysis of a teaching lesson and written lesson preparation
• Oral part of the professional exam

The workshops are traditionally held twice a year before exam periods, and participants evaluate them as very useful and informative. According to evaluation questionnaires, the workshops met the participants’ expectations and are recommended to other interns.
