Commission launches New Skills Agenda for Europe
The Commission has adopted today a new and comprehensive Skills Agenda for Europe. The aim is to ensure that the right training, the right skills and the right support is available to people in the European Union so that they are equipped for good-quality jobs and can fulfil their potential as confident, active citizens. It will ultimately boost employability, competitiveness and growth in Europe.  more

New Erasmus + project of the Agency
Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education successfully applied for the project EQAVET: National Reference Points within the Erasmus+ programme aiming for the improvement of VET quality assurance system on national level, in line with the Recommendation of the European Parlament and the Council on the establishment of a European Quality Assurance Reference Framework for Vocational Education and Trainig (EQARF). more

The first meeting of the new Education and Training 2020 Working Groups took place in Brussels on 22-23 February 2016. Working Groups develop exchanges of information and experience on issues common to the education and training systems of the Member States. more

Since 2011. Agency has recognized over 6000 foreign VET school qualifications
Brief analysis of work on the recognition of foreign VET school qualifications. 
Since 1 September 2011, when the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education gained the authority for recognition of foreign VET school qualifications, until 31 December 2015, the Agency has received 6837 applications for recognition of foreign VET school qualifications, out of which 6061 qualifications were fully recognized, or 89% of total applications received. more

Call for participation in the development of ESCO

ESCO covers all economic areas clustered in 27 sectors, 11 of which are already finalised. To develop the remaining 16 sectors, the European Commission will launch an online consultation on the 14th of October 2015.
