New Erasmus + project of the Agency - Digital competence for teachers

Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education (AVETAE) in the scope of Erasmus +, Key Activity 2 in the area of ​​general education, is implementing the project Digital competence for teachers, whose aim is to create a portal that will allow teachers e-learning and training in the field of five digital competence:
  • recognition of the need for information
  • Finding and collecting information through a computer
  • analysis and evaluation of information
  • use (storage, creating and displaying) information through a computer
  • publication and dissemination of information via the Internet

The purpose of the project is to increase the competence of teachers for the confident and critical use of information and communication technology to work, in personal and social life as well as in communication.

Agency for Vocational Education and Training is a project coordinator, and the project is implemented in cooperation with the 5 partner institutions from Slovenia (PIA, Information Systems and Services Ltd. and Mouse Ltd.), Spain (Fundación para la Formación, by cualificación y el Empleo en el Metal Sector of Asturias), Lithuania (Vilnius regioninis Innovation Center) and Turkey (Konya Milli Eğitim İl Müdürlüğü).

The project has received support in the amount of € 126,912.00, and lasts from 1 September 2014 to 31 August 2016.
